Problem Note 39301: A null-pointer exception occurs when you click the Orphaned Table Data link after you migrate SASĀ® Warranty Analysis 4.1 data to the 4.2 release
After you migrate SAS Warranty Analysis 4.1 data to release 4.2, some of the userdl tables do not contain entries for the Author column. This behavior occurs if the original user name contains the domain in either of the following forms:
- user-name@domain
- domain\user-name
- domain/user-name
This problem occurst because the code does not account for these variations in the user-name format. As a result, you can receive a null-pointer except when you click the Orphaned Table Data link.
There is no workaround for this problem.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
After migrating SAS Warranty Analysis 4.1 data to release 4.2, a null-pointer exception occurs when you click the Orphaned Table Data link. This problem occurs because the migration script fails to write user names to some userdl tables if the user name includes the domain.
