Problem Note 39291: Hot Fix for SAS® Social Network Analysis 2.1

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It
The Hot Fix referenced contains fixes for the following SAS® Social Network Analysis 2.1 issues as described below.

Issue 1

White list suppression does not check the logical delete indicator correctly.

Issue 2

The install paths for the SNA directories should not be hardcoded. The script that creates the SAS® Social Network Analysis file system layout needs to be changed so that the paths are not hardcoded in the script. Also, the paths need to be specified as parameters in the autoexec.

Issue 3

Proc append fails in some cases when executing the macro sfs_dm_create_subalerts. The FORCE option should be added to the following append procedure in the macro file sfs_dm_create_subalerts.sas, and the ddl for the table should be separated from the code so that it can be localized.

Issue 4

Certain options are missing in some SQL code. The DBCONINIT settings should be specified for the MySQL Library for non-latin1 language. This problem causes incorrect processing during the backend alert generation process.

Issue 5

Missing values (i.e. forecasted values) cannot be represented or rendered on line charts in SAS® Social Network Analysis.

Issue 6

SAS® Social Network Analysis requires that a valid SAS anonymous web user account be configured on the SAS mid-tier.

Issue 7

The ability to modify or add an initial search screen has been provided.
