Problem Note 39247: You cannot uninstall SAS Universal Viewer 1.0 from the Control Panel after installing SAS Universal Viewer 1.1
If you install SAS Universal Viewer 1.0 and subsequently install SAS Universal Viewer 1.1, you will have two operational versions of the SAS Universal Viewer on your system.
If you then want to uninstall SAS Universal Viewer 1.0 and leave the SAS Universal Viewer 1.1 intact, there is no option to uninstall the SAS Universal Viewer 1.0 when you select Add or Remove Programs from the Control Panel. In this case, you need to manually uninstall the SAS Universal Viewer 1.0. To do that:
- Remove this folder: C:\Program Files\SAS\SASUniversalViewer\1.0.
- Remove SAS Universal Viewer as an option from the Start menu. Highlight SAS Universal Viewer, right-click, and select Delete.
