Problem Note 39199: CIMPORT issues "Given transport file is damaged (obs header is damaged)" error if the transport file is created from data sets on tape

The following error can be generated by the CIMPORT procedure when trying to import a transport file that was created with the CPORT procedure from data sets that are stored on tape:
ERROR: Given transport file is damaged (obs header is damaged).
PROC CIMPORT stops processing and the file is not imported.
To circumvent the problem, create the transport file with PROC CPORT using data sets that have first been saved from tape to disk.
