Problem Note 39167: If a user attempts to access manual adjustments while another user is posting adjustments, the first user might find that adjustments are locked

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

If a user is attempting to show manual adjustments for a model in SAS® Financial Management while another user is already posting adjustments for that model, the first user might find that adjustments are locked and will not be able to proceed. The first user might observe a message warning about concurrent usage or concurrent locks and is informed that SAS Financial Management will again attempt to secure a lock in 4 minutes.

This issue is a result of the timing of when the two users try to perform their actions with the manual adjustments. However, the first user should not be able to access manual adjustments if another user already has manual adjustments locked for posting to a model.
