When creating an analysis in the German locale, users might see error messages similar to the following:
com.sas.analytics.mfg.warranty.coreapi.error.client.WarrantyException: java.lang.NumberFormatException at com.sas.analytics.mfg.warranty.core.persistence.cmd.BaseCommand.execute(BaseCommand.java:469) at com.sas.analytics.mfg.warranty.core.project.RemoteProjectImpl.populateAnalysisNodes(RemoteProjectImpl.java:408)
The error occurs with the following analysis types:
The problem is due to incorrect decimal point parsing when the client is using the German locale and the mid-tier is using a non-German locale. A decimal number in the German locale is formatted using a '.' for the grouping separator and ',' for the decimal separator.
