Usage Note 39967: French translations not available in SAS® Anti-Money Laundering 4.2

French translations will not be present after installing SAS® Anti-Money Laundering 4.2.

To correct this issue two lines of code must be added to the file

antimnylndcf_config.xml

At line number 561 insert the following:

<contains string="${os.localhost.selected.locale}" substring="fr"/>
At line number 1463 insert the following:

&loc eq fr or ${line.separator}

The default install location of antimnylndcf_config.xml for each host is:

Windows: C:\Program Files\SAS\SASFoundation\9.2\antimnylndda\sasmisc\config
Unix: <SASROOT>/SAS/SASFoundation/9.2/misc/antimnylndda/config

After the changes above are made the SAS Deployment Wizard should be re-run using setup.exe (on Windows) or setup.sh (on Unix), and the Configuration option selected. The configuration will read the modifications made and will enable a successful deployment where French translations from datasets will be used.

If the SAS Anti-Money Laundering Investigation UI component is deployed to your web application server then unconfigure the SAS Anti-Money Laundering Investigation UI component with the SAS Deployment Manager. Reconfigure the SAS Anti-Money Laundering Investigation UI component with the SAS Deployment Wizard . Since the SAS Anti-Money Laundering Investigation UI Web application is rebuilt and redeployed with configuration you do not need to complete Step 1 and Step 2 of the Post Installation Instructions.

NOTE: If you wish to skip the French localization then proceed with Step 1 of the hotfix to rebuild and redeploy the SAS Anti-Money Laundering Investigation UI component.
