Usage Note 39901: SAS® OLAP Cube Studio evaluates the need for the VALIDVARNAME option starting in SAS® 9.2
When building a cube in SAS 9.1 using SAS OLAP Cube Studio, the VALIDVARNAME=ANY option is always set even though it might not be needed. This behavior has been changed in SAS 9.2 for SAS OLAP Cube Studio. Specifically, the cube definition is now evaluated to determine whether the VALIDVARNAME=ANY option needs to be generated in the PROC OLAP code.
For SAS OLAP cubes, the VALIDVARNAME option is also used to determine the letter casing of the cube name in metadata and in the file system.
