Usage Note 39864: The create a new project Login window appears again after you enter user name and password, or gives an error if you cancel
When creating a new project in SAS® Enterprise Miner™ you might encounter an additional window. The window will continue to reappear, even after you enter the correct credentials and click "OK".

Note: if you click "Cancel", then you will see this additional window:
The continued reappearance occurs if the "log on as a batch job" privilege has not been granted to your user id.
To verify that this privilege has not been granted, look for the following message in the Object Spawner log. (The Object Spawner logs are located in SAS/Lev1/ObjectSpawner/Logs.

authenticating user sasdemo in function LogonUser. Error 1385 (Logon
failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this
computer.
To correct this problem, follow these steps to grant the privilege:
- Start ► Control Panel ► Administrative Tools
- Local Security Policy ► Local Policies ► User Rights
Assignment ► Log on as a batch job
- Add the domain\userid, local machine userid or OS Group
