Usage Note 39858: SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Oracle must be reconfigured after you apply the second maintenance release for SAS® 9.2 (TS2M2)
After you apply the second maintenance release for SAS 9.2 (TS2M2) in UNIX environments, you must reconfigure SAS/ACCESS Interface to Oracle. The reconfiguration is necessary in order to create the SASORA symbolic link and to link it with the SAS Oracle image that is compatibile with your users' Oracle client libraries.
The maintenance upgrade is an entirely new installation; therefore, you have to treat it as a new installation. For information about how to create the symbolic link, see the
Configuration Guide for SAS® 9.2 Foundation for UNIX® Environments.
