When you use the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office to open multiple SAS reports, SAS^® Web Report Studio places the requests in a single queue. By default, this queue can process up to eight requests simultaneously, with additional requests handled automatically as they are received and as resources become available.

The default of eight can be modified. For example, if your site maintains multiple workspace servers in a server-side pool and you need to accommodate a large number of reporting requests, then you could raise this value to the pool size or slightly higher. Following are the instructions for changing the number of requests that are processed simultaneously.

1. In SAS^® Management Console, on the Plug-ins tab, navigate to Application Management ► Configuration Manager ► Web Report Studio 4.3.
2. Right-click Web Report Studio 4.3 and select Properties.
3. Click the Advanced tab.
4. Click Add.
5. For Property Name, enter wrs.egamo.support.maxSimultaneous.
6. For Property Value, enter the new default value.
7. Click OK twice to exit all of the dialog boxes.
8. Restart your Web application server to enforce the change.
