Usage Note 39666: An HTTP 500 error might occur when you attempt to invoke the SAS® BI Dashboard
When you attempt to invoke the SAS BI Dashboard Web application, the following error might occur in the browser window:

In addition, the SASBIDashboard4.2.log file that is located in the \Lev1\Web\Logs directory might contain the following error:
WARN com.sas.bi.dashboard.context.DashboardServices - Theme service not available.
ERROR com.sas.bi.dashboard.context.DashboardServices - ERROR: Exception thrown: null
These errors occur if you have set a theme in the SAS® Information Delivery Portal as your default theme and then you subsequently deletd the theme from the installation.
To resolve the problem, log into the portal, change your theme preference to another theme and log off. You should be able to open the SAS® BI Dashboard after changing the theme preference to a valid theme.
