Problem Note 39660: The Load_STG2DM_Prf_Geo_prod_status.sas job fails during an incremental load for SASĀ® Size Profiling
During an incremental load for SAS Size Profiling, the Load_STG2DM_Prf_Geo_prod_status.sas job might fail as a result of multiple rows in source data with the same location and product. You might see an error in the log similar to the following:
ERROR: BY variables are not properly sorted on data set WORK._PARTITION_50970_F.
PROD_HIER_SK=6191 GEO_HIER_SK=3003 GEO_PROD_STATUS=5 VALID_FROM_DT=04APR2010 VALID_TO_DT=10APR2010
FIRST.PROD_HIER_SK=0 LAST.PROD_HIER_SK=0 FIRST.GEO_HIER_SK=0 LAST.GEO_HIER_SK=0 FIRST.VALID_FROM_DT=1
LAST.VALID_FROM_DT=1 _ERROR_=1 _N_=61205
NOTE: The SAS System stopped processing this step because of errors.
NOTE: There were 56870 observations read from the data set DM_GPS.PARTITION_50970.
NOTE: There were 5717 observations read from the data set WORK._PARTITION_50970_F.
WARNING: The data set DM_GPS.PARTITION_50970 may be incomplete. When this step was stopped there were 61204 observations and 5 variables.
WARNING: Data set DM_GPS.PARTITION_50970 was not replaced because this step was stopped.
NOTE: DATA statement used (Total process time):
real time 0.03 seconds
cpu time 0.03 seconds
As a workaround, split the source data into multiple sources (multiple loads) such that no source has duplicate location and product.
