Problem Note 39564: SAS® 9.2 (TS2M3) Database Request Module (DBRM) members that are needed for the DB2 bind are not downloaded during the installation
When you run the third maintenance release for SAS 9.2 (TS2M3) in a z/OS operating environment, the SAS92 and SAS92X DBRM members that are needed for the DB2 bind are not downloaded during the installation. You can download the DBRMs that are needed for the DB2 bind from the
Technical Support Hot Fixes Web page. Note the following:
- If you are configuring SAS 9.2 (TS2M3) and have not applied the fixes for SAS/ACCESS® Interface DB2, download files under "DBRM Updates for SAS 9.2 TS2M3 WITHOUT SAS/Access to DB2 hot fixes."
- If you are configuring SAS 9.2 (TS2M3) and you have applied the hot fixes for SAS/ACCESS Interface to DB2, then download files under "DBRM Updates for SAS 9.2 TS2M3 WITH SAS/Access to DB2 hot fixes."
- If you are configuring SAS 9.2 (TS1M0), SAS 9.2 (TS2M0), or SAS 9.2 (TS2M2) see SAS Note 35020.
By following the appropriate installation instructions in DBRMS92M3.TXT or DBRMS92M3_HF1.TXT, two data sets will created, each of which contains the members SAS92 and SAS92X. If you plan to run SAS 9.2 (TS2M3) with an earlier SAS 9.2 release, you must follow the additional steps as documented in the DBRMS92M3.TXT or DBRMS92M3_HF1.TXT file before you perform the bind.
To ensure that the correct data set is accessed, when you perform the DB2 bind, you should point to the appropriate DBRM library as given in the installation instructions, rather than specifying the DBRM data set that is created during the SAS installation.
