Usage Note 39555: The SAS® Content Server log contains the warning "Principal (Customer Intelligence: ... ) not used because it contains the reserved character: :"
SAS Customer Intelligence products create the following groups in the metadata repository when the products are configured with the SAS® Deployment Wizard:
- Customer Intelligence:Administrator
- Customer Intelligence: Basic Campaign Designer
- Customer Intelligence: Advanced Campaign Designer
SAS® Content Server reacts to the semi-colon " : " in the names of these groups by writing warnings similar to the ones below in the SAS Content Server log:
2010-05-04 13:35:40,370[WebContainer : 1] WARN
org.apache.jackrabbit.core.SessionImpl -
Principal (Customer Intelligence:Administrator) not used because it contains the reserved character: :.
2010-05-04 13:35:40,371[WebContainer : 1] WARN
org.apache.jackrabbit.core.SessionImpl -
Principal (Customer Intelligence: Basic Campaign Designer) not used because it contains the reserved character: :.
2010-05-04 13:35:40,371[WebContainer : 1] WARN
org.apache.jackrabbit.core.SessionImpl -
Principal (Customer Intelligence: Advanced Campaign Designer) not used because it contains the reserved character: :.
These warnings have no impact on the functioning of the SAS Customer Intelligence products. However, if you would prefer to prevent these messages, remove the semi-colon from the names of these groups in SAS® Management Console:
- In the User Manager plug-in, right-click on the properties for each group.
- In the General tab, edit the Name field and remove the semi-colon. The Display Name retains the semi-colon.
