Usage Note 39458: Adding row numbers to list tables in SASĀ® Web Report Studio
To add row numbers to list tables, follow the instructions for your version of SAS Web Report Studio.
In version 4.3 and later, open the Properties dialog box for the list table and select the Add row numbers option on the General tab.
In versions 3.1 and 4.2, edit the information map to add a new data item with the following expression, and then add the data item to the table.
The monotonic() function creates a running count of rows. You can use this solution only with detail data. If the data is aggregated, then the line numbers won't display correctly.
