SAS Web Report Studio schedules, including scheduled distributions, must be managed from within SAS Web Report Studio. Creating, modifying, and deleting schedules using the Schedule Manager plug-in to SAS Management Console is not a tested or supported workflow. Those actions result in unexpected behavior and errors.

In addition to the schedules or distributions failing, here are some other problems that you might encounter.

• If you reschedule a flow in SAS Management Console, you will no longer be able to successfully run or manage the schedule from within SAS Web Report Studio.
• If you delete a scheduled distribution from SAS Management Console, then you are unable to edit any new distributions created for that report. You see the error that  the system cannot complete your request. This problem with editing occurs even though the new distribution executes successfully. 
• Schedules created in SAS Web Report Studio appear with a red X if you select them using the Schedule Manager plug-in, as shown in the following display.

• If you attempt to view properties from Schedule Manager, you might get an error such as the one shown in the following display.

Once you encounter these problems, the recommendation is to make a copy of the report. Going forward, manage schedules and scheduled distributions only from within SAS Web Report Studio.
