Problem Note 39307: If disk space is exhausted and SyncSort is used as the host sort, PROC SORT may write unusable output data set
If SyncSort is used as the host sort utility, and there is not enough disk space to write the output data set of a PROC SORT step, the output data set may be unusable.
If the input data set and the output data set are the same,
the input data set may be overwritten with an unusable
data set.
If the output data set is different from the input data set,
the output data set may be overwritten with an unusable data set.
