Problem Note 39157: Limits for open files and partsize increased for SASĀ® Scalable Performance Data Server 4.52 on Microsoft Windows
If you are running SAS® Scalable Performance Data Server 4.51 or earlier on Microsoft Windows, there is a hard-coded open file limit of 4096. This effectively means that with a maximum Windows partsize of 2 GB, the largest table size you could have would be approximately 8 TB.
Starting with SAS Scalable Performance Data Server 4.52, the open file limit has been increased. In addition, the 2 GB maximum for the Windows partsize has been changed to reflect the maximum allowed by the file system.
