Problem Note 39140: You cannot turn off SAS autocorrection feature "Assuming the ... is misspelled as" in code submitted to the SAS® System
You cannot turn off the SAS autocorrection feature that causes SAS to assume misspelled keywords and run automatically with the corrected spelling. For example, suppose you submit the following code:
proc setiniit;
run;
When this code is submitted, the following note is displayed in the SAS log:
Assuming the symbol SETINIT was misspelled as setiniit.
A solution for this issue is planned for a future SAS release.
