Problem Note 39023: The error message "ERROR: Write Access Violation In Task [ RISK ]" occurs when you run a simulation analysis project
When you run a simulation analysis project, you might get the following error during the market state generation phase of the simulation:
ERROR: Write Access Violation In Task [ RISK ]

The error might be preceded by a message similar to the following:
NOTE: Of the 210 risk factor variables that have been declared, 151 are used directly in the pricing
method programs for the instrument types that are contained in portfolio file "posfile_CR_SM".
In addition, 1 values of foreign exchange rates are referenced indirectly or are used for
currency translations. Memory will be allocated for these 152 risk factors and exchange rates
for each perturbed market states that is generated by an analysis.
This error is known to occur if the amount of memory that is required for the market state generation exceeds 2GB. There are no workarounds for this issue.
