Problem Note 38997: SAS® BI Dashboard portlet displays SAS® Log On screen if SAS® Strategy Management 5.1 portlets exist on the same SAS® Information Delivery Portal page

If SAS Strategy Management 5.1 portlets and SAS BI Dashboard portlets exist on the same page in the SAS Information Delivery Portal, the SAS Log On screen for the SAS Information Delivery Portal is shown instead of the Dashboard indicators being displayed.

To circumvent this problem, you must update a WebLogic XML file on the middle-tier server, as follows:

  1. Back up the existing weblogic.xml file in the Strategy Management EAR directory, which is typically in the following location:
    drive:\SAS\Config\Lev1\Web\Staging\exploded\sas.strategymanagement5.1.ear\sas.strategymanagement.war\WEB-INF
  2. Download the updated weblogic.xml; file from the Downloads tab and copy it to the directory above.
  3. Restart SASServer3.
  4. After SASServer3 has fully restarted, verify that the SAS Strategy Management and the SAS BI Dashboard portlets are properly displayed in the SAS Information Delivery Portal.
