Problem Note 38928: Markdown recommendations might be made earlier than expected in SASĀ® Markdown Optimization
SAS Markdown Optimization should recommend a markdown only in the periods that are at least MIN_PERIODS_BETWEEN_MARKDN after the last markdown period. The value MIN_PERIODS_BETWEEN_MARKDN is specified in the Global Setting Table. However SAS Markdown Optimization incorrectly makes markdown recommendations before MIN_PERIODS_BETWEEN_MARKDN after the last markdown period.
The recommendations are correct. However, they are made for the wrong period.
