In SAS Information Delivery Portal 2.0, you could remove the Search and Options menus by modifying the banner.html file in a custom theme. In SAS Information Delivery Portal 4.2, you cannot remove these menus by making theme changes. The ability to remove these menus was added back in the first maintenance release for SAS Information Delivery Portal 4.2 (4.2 M1) with the hot fix from the Hot Fix tab in this note applied. SAS Information Delivery Portal 4.2 M2 and later include this ability without the need for the hot fix.
To disable the Customize (4.3 and later), Options, or Search menu for users who are not content administrators or Portal administrators, follow these directions:
sasadm@saspw
.

This menu is not used in Portal 4.2. |
