Usage Note 38877: Breadcrumb trail of a drilled category is moved to applied filters when the category is not visible in the SAS® Web Report Studio report

In an OLAP-based report, drilled categories that are visible in the report are displayed in the breadcrumb trail above the table or graph. Categories that are not visible in the report are represented in the applied filters. The intent is to display the current drilled state for proper data interpretation even though navigation via the breadcrumb trail is not available.
For example, the following display shows the initial rendering of a cube built from the SASHELP.PRDSALE data set. Two category dimensions are shown (Geography and Product). The report includes a crosstabulation table and a graph based on the Geography dimension.
If you drill into both dimensions, you will see the following breadcrumb trail.
If you remove the table, the Product dimension is no longer visible in any report object. When this change occurs, the drill state of the Product dimension is moved to applied filters.
