In SAS Enterprise Guide, when you use Export as Step in Project to export a data set to a location on the SAS server, and then you try to modify the location to another server, an application error will occur.
SAS.EG.SDS.SDSException Server does not exist -------------------- Technical Information Follows ------------------------------ SAS.EG.SDS.SDSException: Server does not exist ---> SAS.EG.SDS.SDSException: Server does not exist at SAS.EG.SDS.Model.Creator.CreateServer(String name) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at SAS.Shared.DNADecoder.CreateObject() at SAS.EG.ProjectElements.Forms.ExportLocationPage.GetServerFileName() at SAS.EG.ProjectElements.Forms.ExportLocationPage.browseServer_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) --------------------- End of Technical Information ------------------------------
The current workaround is to delete the Export step and manually re-create it.
