Problem Note 38659: An error occurs when the rich client in SAS® Warranty Analysis loses its connection to the server

In SAS Warranty Analysis, the rich client application loses the connection to the server, which generates a dialog box with the following error message:

SAS Warranty Analysis has lost its connection to the server and must be 
closed. Try restarting the application. If the  problem persists, contact your 
system administrator for assistance.

The problem occurs because the SAS Analytics Platform event mechanism does not work reliably in some networking environments. As a result, the connection closes. When this error occurs, the only option is to click OK in the dialog box and then restart the rich client.
