Problem Note 38654: The user ID in the Posted By column of the eiout.eialertnotestatus table is truncated to eight characters

In the Emerging Issues workspace, you can add notes to alerts. However, when a note is added, the information in the Posted By column in the eiout.eialertnotestatus table is truncated to eight characters.
This problem occurs because the Posted By column in the EIOUT library is only eight characters.
No workaround is possible.
