Usage Note 38602: Message regarding CMSPermGenSweepingEnabled is harmless
For the second maintenance release of SAS 9.2 (TS2M2), the Java virtual machine writes the following message to the Oracle WebLogic server log when you deploy SAS Web applications on a WebLogic server with Java Development Kit (JDK) 1.6.0_14 or later:
Please use CMSClassUnloadingEnabled in place of CMSPermGenSweepingEnabled in the future
This message is harmless and can be ignored. The preferred option it recommends, CMSClassUnloadingEnabled, is already included on the Java command line for the WebLogic server.
To eliminate this message, remove the CMSPermGenSweepingEnabled option from the Java command line in the startup script or from the Java options that are configured for the server in the WebLogic administration console.
