The time-out setting in SAS Information Delivery Portal is not affected by activity in the Visual Data Explorer. So, users who are working with an information map or data exploration in the Visual Data Explorer might be interrupted and redirected to the time-out page when the limit is reached.
To alleviate the problem, you can configure a longer time-out in order to decrease the possibility that a user will be timed out while working in the Visual Data Explorer.
