Problem Note 38498: A project cannot be deleted from the rich client
After deleting a project, the rich client pauses for a long time and then displays the following error message:
An error was encountered by a SAS program. Please check the logs.
The project is not deleted even though the rich client runs normally when you click OK. The log from deleting the project is located in the Diagnostic Client user logs, and has a name such as warrantyAnalysis.DeleteProjectCommand-???????????????.log. The following information is recorded in the log:
ERROR: Symbolic variable name L_LCKFILENAME** must contain only letters, digits, and underscores.
NOTE: Invalid argument to function SYMPUT at line 549 column 169.
The problem can occur if the number of filtered data sets in the USERFDL folder is greater than 99.
