Problem Note 38401: MDX queries using totals in SAS® Web reports are not optimized by the SAS® OLAP Server

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

The SAS OLAP Server attempts to optimize queries it receives in order to improve the performance of the request. When a query includes a request for totals from one of the SAS Web clients, such as SAS® Web Report Studio, the optimization is not performed on the portion of the query that is used to generate the total. The remainder of the query is still optimized.

Requests for subtotals are not optimized in the SAS 9.1 release.
