Shared individual prompts that are included in an information map do not work correctly when the information map is opened in SAS Enterprise Guide or the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office. As shown in the following figure, the prompts appear as unlabeled text boxes, regardless of their population method:
In addition, if you enter values into the boxes, your values are ignored. If the prompts have defaults, those defaults will be used to generate results.
The prompts work correctly when the information map is used in other applications such as SAS® Web Report Studio.
There is no circumvention for this issue other than to use a non-shared prompt.
