Usage Note 38874: Special characters used in a text-based conditional highlighting rule might not display correctly in SASĀ® Web Report Studio
When used in a text-based conditional highlighting rule, some special characters, such as > and <, might not display correctly. For example, if your conditional highlighting rule inserts the text string "Total cost > 500", you will see "Total cost" when the report is displayed.
As a workaround, reword the conditional text. For the previous example, you could use "Total cost GT 500" instead of "Total cost > 500".
