Problem Note 38793: A client application using the SASĀ® Analytics Platform Server loses its connection to the server and closes
The SAS Analytics Platform Server uses a long polling mechanism to minimize network traffic. In long polling, the client side holds a network connection open while the network is in a hold status. In some network environments, the connection is closed (for example, by a firewall timeout), and the client of the SAS Analytics Platform fails.
When the connection is closed, the following dialog box appears in the SAS® Warranty Analysis rich client:
The only option is to click OK and then restart the rich client.
