exception: access violation.
This problem appears to occur when member-level security is applied to the OLAP cube, and the number of available cubes defined to the SAS OLAP Server exceeds the cube cache setting.
Therefore, to circumvent this issue, you can increase the cube cache setting to a value that is higher than the number of available cubes. The cube cache setting can be modified within SAS® Management Console by following these steps:
- Navigate to Server Manager ► SASApp ► SASApp — Logical OLAP Server, where SASApp refers to the application server name for your OLAP Server.
- When you click on SASApp - Logical OLAP Server in the left-hand pane, SASApp - OLAP Server should display in the right-hand pane. Right click on SASApp - OLAP Server and select Properties.
- In the Properties dialog box, click the Options tab and click Advanced Options.
- On the Cache tab, there is a Cube cache section. In the box labeled Maximum number of cubes in cache, enter a value larger than the number of cubes that are registered to your OLAP schema.
- Restart the SAS OLAP Server to pick up the new cube cache setting.
