SAS/GRAPH java applet failures might display in the SAS Installation Qualification Tool (SAS IQ) output after running SAS IQ against a SAS® 9.2 32-bit installation on an x64 workstation. This only occurs when there is an existing x64 installation of SAS 9.2.
The JAR files for the SAS/GRAPH java applets that are causing the failures are installed at a common location for both the 32-bit and x64 versions of SAS. The x64 installation places the JAR files first and the SAS Installation Qualification Tool does not report any failures against them. When the 32-bit installation is performed, the common JAR files for the SAS/GRAPH applets are not updated because the latest version is already on the system. Thus, the checksum data for the 32-bit SAS installation is not updated. The end results is erroneous SAS IQ checksum failures.
In SAS 9.2 (TS2M3), these checksum failures have been corrected, as files are no longer validated outside of SASROOT.
These errors do not reflect a problem with the installation or with SAS IQ and can be ignored.
