Installation Note 38594: One Oracle WebLogic managed server fails to start in a WebLogic environment that has multiple managed servers
When you use the SAS® Deployment Wizard to deploy to an Oracle WebLogic environment with multiple managed servers, all of the managed servers might start properly except for one.
When that occurs, you might see the following message in the SAS Deployment Wizard log:
[echo] targetServer=SASServer5
...
[echo] FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE
[echo] FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE
[echo] FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE
To resolve this issue, make sure that the node manager is running. Then log into the WebLogic Administration console and manually start the server (in this case, SASServer5). However, if the first managed server fails to start, then you need to install WebLogic patch T552. To obtain the patch, please use the WebLogic Smart Update utility.
