Problem Note 38492: An error occurs in ei_automatedoutput.sas when there are special characters in the Product or Claim variables or their associated lookup descriptions
A syntax error occurs in the ei_automatedoutput.sas file when there are special characters or unmatched parentheses in the Product or Claim variables or their associated lookup descriptions. The problem occurs when such values are passed to some macro calls.
To avoid this issue, use the %NBRQUOTE macro function to contain the special characters or ensure that the Product and Claim variables and their associated lookup descriptions do not contain special characters or unmatched parentheses.
