Problem Note 38489: An error occurs when you run a SAS® Warranty Analysis emerging issues process with the data mart residing on a SAS® Scalable Performance Data Server®
When you run an emerging issues process with the data mart
that resides on a SAS Scalable Performance Data Server
(SAS SPD Server), the process ends with the following error:
ERROR: Variable swa_claim_id already exists on file SWADM.C1_JOB_CODES.
The error occurs because in the util_geteifiltereddata.sas file, a DATA step is renamed,
even if it is not necessary.
Although SAS data sets do not experience errors when a DATA step is renamed unconditionally, this is not the case with the
SAS SPD Server.
No workaround is available.
