Installation Note 38120: Support for the SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office in Microsoft Office 2010
The following information relates to the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office support for Office 2010. Support for Office 2010 is for desktop installations, not Office 2010 Web Apps.
SAS® Add-In 5.1 for Microsoft Office
The SAS Add-In 5.1 for Microsoft Office has been released in SAS 9.3 (TS1M1), Revision 12w06. This release supports 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Microsoft Office 2010 in the following Microsoft Windows operating environments, both 32-bit and 64-bit systems where applicable:
- Windows 7
- Windows Server 2008
- Windows Vista
- Windows Server 2003
- Windows XP
SAS® Add-In 4.3 for Microsoft Office
The SAS Add-In 4.3 for Microsoft Office has been released in SAS 9.2 (TS2M3), Revision 10w34. This release supports Office 2010 in the following Microsoft Windows operating environments, both 32-bit and 64-bit systems where applicable:
- Windows 7
- Windows Server 2008
- Windows Vista
- Windows Server 2003
- Windows XP
Note: Office 2010 support is only for 32-bit Office 2010. Even if the Windows operating environment is 64-bit, only 32-bit Office 2010 is supported. Support for 64-bit Office 2010 is offered in the SAS® Add-In 5.1 for Microsoft Office release which is available now.
SAS® Add-In 4.2 for Microsoft Office
The SAS Add-In 4.2 for Microsoft Office is not supported under Office 2010.
SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office 1.3 and 2.1
The SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office 1.3 and 2.1 releases are not supported under Office 2010.
