Problem Note 38056: A "Connection timed out:could be due to invalid address" error might occur when you perform import tasks
If a firewall is in place between the SAS® Model Manager client and the SAS Model Manager server, then the client becomes unresponsive. The problem occurs if you click
OK during any one of the following tasks:
- importing documents
- importing models
- importing tables
The SAS® Analytics Platform server log shows the following error:
Connection timed out:could be due to invalid address

The hot fix is specific to the version of the SAS Analytics Platform server that you are using.
