Installation Note 38046: An error occurs when you try to connect to a Greenplum database via SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Greenplum
Without the DataDirect ODBC Driver for Greenplum, you cannot connect to Greenplum databases by using SAS/ACCESS Interface to Greenplum. In the second and thrid maintenance release for SAS 9.2 (TS2M2 and TS2M3), that driver is not available when you install and configure SAS/ACCESS Interface to Greenplum. As such, if you try to connect to a Greenplum database after you install SAS/ACCESS Interface to Greenplum, you will receive an error message similar to the following:
ERROR: The SAS/ACCESS Interface to GREENPL cannot be loaded.
The SASGPL code appendage could not be loaded.
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.
