Problem Note 38000: PROC TABULATE might generate malformed output in ODS destinations
PROC TABULATE might generate malformed output in all ODS destinations when both implicit and explicit statistic requests are specified in the TABLE statement.
Following is an example of this type of request.
proc tabulate data=sashelp.class;
class name sex;
var weight;
table name, sex (all weight*n)*f=5. ;
run;
In this case, ALL is assigned the default statistic of N. WEIGHT needs the explicit assignment "of N" because the default statistic is SUM.
To circumvent this problem, specify explicit statistic requests for all variables in the TABLE statement. For example:
table name, sex (all*n weight*n)*f=5. ;

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
If default and explicit statistics requested are specified in a TABLE statement, PROC TABULATE might generate malformed output in ODS destinations.
