Problem Note 37938: The DATETIME variable becomes corrupted when reopening a project

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When a project is created with hourly data using a SAS® DATETIME ID variable, then the initial creation of the project works as expected and forecasts are properly generated.

However, if the project is closed and then reopened, the DATETIME ID values become corrupted and the project returns the following error in the log:

ERROR: Invalid date/time/datetime constant.

Although the above error occurs in the PROC HPFENGINE step, HPF macro variables were corrupted earlier in the code when the values of the macro variables were assigned.

For example, when creating a project, the following HPF macro variables were assigned in the code:

%let HPF_START='27Feb4149245'd; %let HPF_END='04Feb4208374:00:00:00'dt;

After you close the project, and reopen the project using File ► Projects, the graphics do not display. Furthermore, clicking on the exclamation point at the bottom of the screen opens the SAS log and you will see the aforementioned error:

ERROR: Invalid date/time/datetime constant '27Feb4149245'd.
