Problem Note 37613: An error occurs on supported UNIX platforms when you connect to Oracle from SAS® 9.2 with an Oracle 11g client

When you connect to the Oracle database from SAS 9.2 with an Oracle 11g client on a supported UNIX platform, you receive an error message similar to the following:
ERROR: The SAS/ACCESS Interface to ORACLE cannot be loaded. ERROR: Image SASORA found but not loadable. ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.
SAS 9.2 does not provide a sasora module that is linked to an Oracle 11g client. The error occurs if you use the sasora module that is linked to Oracle 10 with an Oracle 11g client.
This problem currently occurs for the following UNIX platforms that are supported by SAS:
- R46
- S64
- H64
- LNX (x86)
- LAX (x86-64)
- H6I
