The Query Builder, or other task, can include a user-written macro variable that might cause a syntax error after migrating a project to SAS Enterprise Guide 4.2. For queries, this problem will most likely occur when the Value field in the filter contains a user-written date or datetime macro variable such as &my_date.
To circumvent the syntax error, edit the filter and deselect the option Use formatted dates.
