Usage Note 37514: Support is now available for reading the MySQL LONGTEXT data type in SAS/ACCESS® Interface to ODBC

Support is now available for reading the MySQL LONGTEXT data type when you use SAS/ACCESS Interface to ODBC.
The following requirements are necessary in order to use the data type:
- MySQL ODBC driver 3.51.23 or later is required.
- If you are running SAS® 9.1.3, you must apply a required hot fix that is available for SAS/ACCESS Interface to ODBC. Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to apply this hot fix.
- If you are running SAS 9.2, make sure that it is SAS 9.2 (TS2M0) or later.
- When you configure the ODBC driver on the ODBC driver's Advanced tab, make sure that the Flag 1 tab (Return Matching Rows) and the Flag 3 tab (Limit column size to signed 32-bit range) are selected.
