Problem Note 37513: Hash table load from a SAS data set fails

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

This error is caused by accessing a SAS data set through the META engine on the LIBNAME statement. The META engine is used when the SAS data set has been defined in a metadata repository and is accessed through the repository.

When using this SAS data set in the Hash DECLARE statement:

   declare myhash hash(DATASET:datasetname);

You may see this error message in the SASlog:

   ERROR: Hash data set load failed at line 999 column 9.
   ERROR: DATA STEP Component Object failure. Aborted during the
   EXECUTION phase.

The only work-around is to not use the metadata server.
