Problem Note 37405: "An error occurred during the execution of this code" running TMFILTER macro

In SAS® Text Miner, running the TMFILTER macro against a very large document collection might return the following error:
An error occurred during the execution of this code
The log might contain the following error messages:
ERROR: File is in use, C:\DOCUME~1\sasdemo\LOCALS~1\Temp\SAS
Temporary Files\_TD12696\filterLog.txt.
ERROR: The filtering terminated prematurely.
The filterlog.txt file contains this information:

A possible workaround is to subset the document collection, run multiple TMFILTER macros, and then combine the outputted SAS data sets into one large data set that can be read into SAS Text Miner.
